주한미군 498전투지원부대원들과 함께하는 구미성리학역사관 탐방, 역사 문화 여행 즐거움 만끽
이날 구미성리학역사관 현장은 구미시학원연합회 주관으로 열린 '주한미군 498전투지원부대원들과 함께하는 구미 문화 여행(2022 Gumi Culture Tour with 498CSSB)' 행사의 일환으로 구미 관내 청소년들과 미군들간의 교류와 소통의 장이기도 했다.
류영철 구미성리학역사관 관장은 성리학에 대해 "성리학은 우주와 인간은 하나다. 그것을 탐구하는 학문이고 그것이 우리나라 금오산 자락에 있다. 이곳을 즐거운 마음으로 즐기시고 많은 것을 얻어가길 바란다"라고 전했다.
한편, 문화 여행 행사에 참가한 구미시 도량동에 위치한 AES영어학원생들은 구미성리학역사관의 전시실과 체험장을 둘러보며 영어로 원어민과 인사 주고 받기 과제를 받아 10명 이상의 원어민의 이름을 메모장에 적어 오는 등 영어학습에 열성적인 모습을 보이기도 했다.
이외에도 주한미군 부대원들과 청소년들은 구미성리학역사관 긍운정 앞마당에 준비된 금궁스포츠 체험을 통해 흥미로운 시간을 가지며 가을날의 정취를 만끽했다.

(National = KTN) Reporter Kim Do-hyung = On the 15th (Saturday), a number of foreigners and Korean teenagers had a time to savor the scent of Joseon Dynasty history at the Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum (Director Ryu Young-chul) at the foot of Geumosan Mountain.
On this day, the Gumi Neo-Confucianism History Museum was also a venue for exchanges and communication between teenagers and U.S. soldiers in Gumi as part of the "Gumi Culture Tour with 498 CSSB" event organized by the Gumi City Academy Association.
Regarding Neo-Confucianism, Ryu Young-chul, director of the Gumi Neo-Confucianism History Museum, said, "The universe and humans are one in Neo-Confucianism. It is a study that explores it, and it is located at the foot of Geumosan Mountain in Korea. He said, "I hope you enjoy this place with a pleasant heart and get a lot of things."
Meanwhile, AES English Academy students in Doryang-dong, Gumi-si, who participated in the cultural travel event, looked around the exhibition room and experience hall of the Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum and wrote down the names of more than 10 native speakers in a memo.
In addition, U.S. Forces Korea members and teenagers had an interesting time and enjoyed the autumn atmosphere through the Geumgung Sports experience prepared in the front yard of the Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum.
