First, what the reader wants is not just information. Now the reader thinks. Articles should no longer be just tools to communicate information, but should also be guides to providing context and broadening their horizons. Newspapers' new role is to find and convey meaning in the vast amount of data created by AI. Content is quickly consumed and forgotten. However, insights that make readers nod and articles that answer the next question that they may be curious about survive.
