The arrest of former President Park Geun Hye had a great impact on the modern history of the Republic of Korea around 3:04 a.m. on March 31, 2017. Ironically, conservative groups that supported Park have now come forward to defend the mastermind behind the downfall. The movements of groups such as Dr. Mo's reveal the complexity and contradiction of politics. It is somewhat bitter and sad to see the enemies of the past become today's comrades and those who shouted for justice praise the new power.

But behind the scenes, it was a mixture of political propaganda and manipulated public anger. One believed he was fighting for justice, and another belatedly realized he had been tricked.

The rise of Yoon Suk Yeol and the change of conservative forces mean more than just political dynamics. They have come up with a new justification, reconstructing the past and present. But is the justification true? Or is it the product of another propaganda?

The public of this era should no longer be mere spectators. What we must protect is not politicians, but truth. In the rise and fall of power, truth is sacrificed first. The cost of that sacrifice has always been paid by the people. It is time to protect our reason in the frenzy of propaganda. Goebbels' propaganda philosophy should be read as a warning. A society where only purpose justifies everything will surely collapse again.
