2024 청소년 평화통일 골든벨 대회, 오클랜드 한국학교에서 열려

한인 청소년들의 희망의 노래와 긍지의 순간

(뉴질랜드= KTN) 박춘태 기자= 지난 5월 25일(토) 오후 3시(뉴질랜드 현지 시간) 오클랜드 한국학교에서 '2024 청소년 평화통일 골든벨 대회' 및 '우리나라 노래 부르기 대회'가 열렸다.

참가 대상은 중고등학생(Year 7-13)으로, 5월 11일(토) 예선을 통과한 학생들이었다.

이번 행사는 민주평화통일자문회의(이하 '민주평통') 뉴질랜드 협의회(회장 오창민)가 주관했으며, 오클랜드 분관 김홍기 총영사, 홍승필 한인회장을 비롯하여 뉴질랜드 한국학교, 한민족 한글학교 학생, 교사, 학부모, 다수의 동포들이 참석했다.

오창민 헙의회 회장은 인사말을 통해 민주평통의 역할ㆍ중요성을 강조하며, '우리나라가 남북통일을 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있으며 뉴질랜드 협의회에서도 열심히 통일운동을 하고 있다. 오늘의 행사를 통해 여러분들이 재주와 용기를 발휘하여 좋은 결과를 얻기를 기대한다.'라고 말했다. 이후 참석자들과 함께 "자랑스러운 한국인이 되자"는 구호를 외치며, 학생들이 대한민국의 귀중한 자산인 만큼 긍지와 자부심을 갖고 생활해 줄 것을 당부했다.

시상식에서는 상장과 소정의 장학금이 수여되었다. 최우수상은 임정현 학생에게 상장과 장학금 300 달러, 우수상은 김준일 학생에게 상장과 200 달러, 장려상은 한종현, 이요한, 이오육 학생에게 상장과 100 달러가 주어졌다.

(New Zealand = KTN) Reporter Park Chun-tae = The "2024 Youth Peaceful Reunification Golden Bell Contest" and "Korean Singing Contest" were held at the Auckland Korean School on May 25 (Saturday, New Zealand local time).



Participants were middle and high school students (Year 7-13), who passed the preliminary round on May 11 (Sat).



The event was organized by the Advisory Council on Democratic and Peaceful Unification (hereinafter referred to as "Democratic Peace and Unification") and the New Zealand Council (Chairman Oh Chang-min), and attended by Consul General Kim Hong-ki and Korean President Hong Seung-pil, as well as students, teachers, parents, and a number of compatriots from Korean schools in New Zealand.



Oh Chang-min, chairman of the HUB Council, emphasized the role and importance of democratic common people in a greeting, saying, "Our country is making great efforts for the reunification of the two Koreas, and the New Zealand Council is also working hard for the unification movement. I look forward to seeing good results through today's event by showing your talents and courage." Afterwards, he chanted the slogan "Let's be proud Koreans" with the participants, and asked students to live with pride and pride as they are valuable assets of the Republic of Korea.



At the ceremony, awards and small scholarships were awarded. The top prize was awarded to Lim Jung-hyun with $300 in awards and scholarships, the excellence prize to Kim Joon-il with $200 in awards and incentives to Han Jong-hyun, Lee Yo-han and Lee Yi-yuk with awards and $100 in awards.
