 "양국 경제협력 새 시대를 열다"

(뉴질랜드= KTN) 박춘태 기자= 한뉴비즈니스협의회(KNZBC)가 8월 20일 오클랜드 시내 노던 클럽에서 재출범 행사를 열었다. 이 행사에는 협회 회장 모리스 크로스비, 주오클랜드 분관 김홍기 총영사, 멜리사 리 뉴질랜드 국회의원 등 130여 명의 주요 인사들이 참석했다.

김홍기 총영사의 개회사를 시작으로, 멜리사 리 장관은 한국이 뉴질랜드 수출업체들에게 중요한 시장임을 강조하며 협의회의 재출범을 축하했다. 에어 뉴질랜드의 팀 스완은 한국 시장에 대한 인사이트를 공유하며 협의회와의 협력을 약속했다.

협의회 이사인 손다희는 2024-2025 전략과 계획을 소개하며, 한국과의 비즈니스 관계를 더욱 강화하기 위한 방안을 제시했다. 이어서 열린 세미나에서는 "한국에서의 비즈니스"를 주제로, 뉴질랜드 기업과 수출업체 관계자들이 경험과 조언을 나누는 시간을 가졌다.

이번 행사는 North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence, 오뚜기 뉴질랜드, 핸콕스, 투 아일랜즈, 와이드 인터내셔널 NZ 등의 후원으로 진행됐다.

한뉴비즈니스협의회는 1978년에 설립되어 뉴질랜드와 한국 간의 비즈니스 촉진과 유대 강화를 목표로 활동하고 있는 단체로, 양국 기업들의 협력을 지원하고 있다.

(New Zealand = KTN) Reporter Park Choon-tae = The Han New Business Council (KNZBC) held a re-launch event at the Northern Club in downtown Auckland on August 20. More than 130 key figures attended the event, including Maurice Crosby, chairman of the association, Consul General Kim Hong-ki, a branch of Auckland, and New Zealand lawmaker Melissa Lee.

Starting with the opening speech of Consul General Kim Hong-ki, Minister Melissa Lee congratulated the re-launch of the council, stressing that Korea is an important market for New Zealand exporters. Air New Zealand's Tim Swan promised cooperation with the council, sharing insights on the Korean market.

Sohn Da-hee, the council's director, introduced the 2024-2025 strategy and plan, and suggested ways to further strengthen business relations with Korea. At the seminar that followed, officials from New Zealand companies and exporters shared their experiences and advice under the theme of "Business in Korea."

The event was sponsored by the North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence, Ottogi New Zealand, Hancox, Tuilands, and Wide International NZ.

The Korea New Business Council was established in 1978 to promote business and strengthen ties between New Zealand and Korea, and supports cooperation between companies in both countries.
