In the era of capitalism, businesses' livelihoods are no longer a secret. Through corporate disclosures, we can easily see their every move. Various reports and disclosures are small windows that reveal a company's assets, liabilities, and expedients they want to hide. However, their purpose of accumulating capital went beyond simple management. Their wealth never leaves the company. They want to pass it on to their families and pass on power along with their capital. Because capital is power in the time they live.

Companies are no longer just money-making. It's influence. Capital is power, and that power is only shared within the family. All of their movements appear to be aimed at protecting and expanding capital. Sometimes they draw legal trajectories and sometimes squeeze in gaps in expediency. And even under the public gaze of corporate disclosure, the expediency is bold. They always look for gaps and use them to strengthen their empire.

However, we shouldn't just watch this inheritance. Only woke citizens can check their arrogance. The common sense that corporate profits should be returned to society, not just to family coffers, is no longer an ideal slogan. It is our civic spirit to keep that common sense. It is not just the responsibility of the law to monitor businesses. When we constantly monitor their movements and constantly doubt their expediency and deception, we can stop their arrogant inheritance.

The tools we are given are simple: reading corporate disclosures, tracking their behavior. And realizing how their plans will affect our society through them. Capital is power, but making sure that power is not abused. That's what we have to do.

자본주의 시대에 기업들의 살림은 더 이상 감춰진 비밀이 아니다. 기업공시를 통해 우리는 그들의 일거수일투족을 손쉽게 들여다볼 수 있다. 각종 보고서와 공시는 기업의 자산, 부채, 그리고 그들이 숨기고자 하는 편법들을 밝히는 작은 창이다. 그러나 이들이 자본을 쌓아올린 목적은 단순한 경영을 넘어섰다. 그들의 부는 기업을 떠나지 않는다. 그들은 가족들에게 물려주고, 자본과 함께 권력을 대물림하고자 한다. 그들이 살아가는 시대, 자본은 곧 권력이기 때문이다.

기업은 더 이상 단순한 돈벌이가 아니다. 그것은 영향력이다. 자본이 권력이고, 그 권력은 단지 가족 내부에서만 공유되길 바란다. 그들의 모든 움직임은 자본을 지키고 확장하려는 노림수로 보인다. 때로는 합법적인 궤적을 그리며, 때로는 편법의 틈새를 비집고 들어가려 한다. 그리고 그 편법은 기업공시라는 공공의 시선 아래에서조차 대범하게 벌어진다. 그들은 언제나 빈틈을 찾고, 그 빈틈을 활용해 자신들의 제국을 더 견고히 만든다.

하지만, 이러한 대물림을 가만히 지켜보기만 해서는 안 된다. 깨어 있는 시민만이 그들의 오만을 견제할 수 있다. 기업의 수익이 그저 가족의 금고로 향하는 것이 아니라, 사회로 환원되어야 한다는 상식은 더 이상 이상적인 구호가 아니다. 그 상식을 지키는 것이 바로 우리의 시민정신이다. 기업을 감시하는 것은 단지 법의 몫만이 아니다. 우리가 꾸준히 그들의 움직임을 살피고, 그 편법과 속임수를 끊임없이 의심할 때, 그들의 오만한 대물림도 멈출 수 있다.

우리에게 주어진 도구는 단순하다. 기업공시를 읽고, 그들의 행동을 추적하는 것. 그리고 그것을 통해 그들의 계획이 우리 사회에 어떤 영향을 미칠지 깨닫는 것이다. 자본은 힘이지만, 그 힘이 남용되지 않도록 하는 것. 그것이 우리가 해야 할 일이다.
